Garrafrauns National School Design Workshops took place as part of Galway County Council’s Artists in Schools Programme. May 2019.The programme was based around an area outside which the school planned to turn into a garden. The children drew plants, using them as inspiration for a sculptures. They looked at how to design a 3 dimensional objects and also investigated what it felt like to be in different outdoor spaces.
