I work across schools and community groups to help generate collaborative and unique artworks. Together we are inspired by local heritage, stories, and lore. I plan and organise community mosaics projects that can be made successfully by various skill levels within the group, with the individual elements designed to work together to make a complete whole. I develop workshops where participants can discover elements of the mosaic design process and work in a way that brings the best out of the materials. My workshops often begin with drawing from life, using either sourced objects or those found on location. I am also interested in the design world that is all around us, and in sharing the beauty, joys and usefulness of manmade things.
