During the summer of 2019 the people of Lixnaw, County Kerry created a modern day inventory of objects. Participants selected an area in their home, from the mantlepiece to thefruit bowl, and made a list of its contents. Thehandwritten pages were collected and bound in a leather covered book which marked a snapshot in time, making a record of contemporary popular culture for future generations. The pages were made in collaboration with a number of different community groups, the project engaged the community with contemporary everyday cultural objects and the completed and bound inventory is a valuabledocument for future historians.
